COVID-19 Announcement

As we share some uncertain times together, KC Tile Inc. and our Service Technicians are deemed Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers in the Public Works Section, and are a critical component to the provision of services necessary for maintenance and cleaning of environmental surfaces in residential and commercial environments.

We take several extra steps to ensure everyone’s safety, and constantly monitor communications from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and other federal agencies ensuring consistency of the latest guidance of SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19.

According to the CDC, deep cleaning is the first necessary step of any disinfecting process. Deep cleaning, scrubbing, rinsing and extracting is crucial in removing a substantial number of microorganisms and helps to prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses. Professional deep cleaning removes organic matter and visible soils thus assuring the process of disinfecting surfaces will not be compromised.

Disinfection Protocol: In addition to our current cleaning and sealing protocols, KC Tile is utilizing an EPA Registered Antimicrobial Disinfectant that meets the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2 when used on Hard/Non-Porous Surfaces like Tile, Stone, Soft/Porous Surfaces and high traffic walking areas.

Equipment Disinfection Protocol: We also have enhanced our equipment disinfection protocol with an additional EPA Antimicrobial Registered Disinfectant which meets the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2 and other viral pathogens. All our cleaning equipment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every job for the health and safety of our employees. This process is repeated at the end of each workday along with a complete cleaning and disinfection of our service vehicles.

Employee Training and Personal Protective Equipment: We have trained our employees on maintaining appropriate social distance throughout the workday and the critical importance of personal hygiene with a specific emphasis on handwashing before, during and after all jobs.  We also provide our employees with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”) so they can perform their work safely and with confidence.

Stay safe and remember we will be here for you.
