Showers are normally a hard area to maintain; however, there are several methods that can be used to keep yours looking beautiful, new, and to stop water from penetrating through your grout and damaging the wall board, which can also create mold, fungus and leaks to outside areas of your shower.

Our Method

Re-grouting typically is needed on most showers every 4-5 years or sooner depending on the maintenance in the interim. We use an antimicrobial grout to re-grout the walls and sometimes use a urethane grout on the shower floors to stop the absorption and stay true to the grout color to minimize color shading. Epoxy grout is also available. Lime deposits, calcium and soap scum are easily removed by our specialized cleaning products.Caulking can also be performed 1-2 times a year also depending upon how the shower is being maintained.

Shower Repair

We are also one of the few companies that offer repair services such as taking down sections of soft wall that have been damaged by water intrusion. We clean off the same tile, install new wall board (cement board/Durarock) and put the puzzle back together. Then, we re-grout and caulk the shower. This process is just a fraction of the cost of a new shower. In addition, we have the capability, depending upon the application, to color seal the grout inside the shower; making all the grout joints uniform in color.
